In March 2023 we started a trial using the Pingo app to operate this route as fully Demand Responsive so an assessment could be made of passenger demand and use of both the app and the route. This trial will end on 29th March 2024 and from Monday 1st April 2024 the route will revert to the previously operated timetabled section between Tranent and Haddington with a smaller DRT area bookable online or by phone as demand has shown this is passengers preferred option.
